There
are two types of phlox. The Creeping phlox spreads rapidly and grows
only 2-12 inches high and is used as a ground cover. The flowers usually
come in shades of blue or purple and best grown in shade. Moss phlox stays green year around and have a wide range of colors, white, blue, lilac, lavender, pink, rose, magenta, blue. This is the an easier species to grow and likes lots of sun in well drained soil. Phlox is hardy in Zones 3-8: |
