Coreopsis Moonbeam
Coreopsis Moonbeam
One of the simple bright performers of the summer garden is Moonbeam. Scattered around the garden, its bright green foliage and sunshine bright yellow flowers add to any border or edge. One of its strong points is its hardiness and that they multiply
so rapidly.

As soon as a clump gets too crowded, spade around the circle and punch down to lever it up. Using fingertips, part the clump until you find a natural dividing line, prying the clump apart to get to the root ball. Slice through and clean away dead roots to get a clean root system. Replant one of the new clumps in the old spot and find a new place for its twin. Be sure to water thoroughly after planting.
Deer and rabbits tend to leave this one alone.
