Rudbeckia: Black-Eyed-Susan
These flowers are noted for their large, daisy-type booms with dark centers. They come in both an annual and perennial varieties. Flowers are in shades of yellow, orange and mahogany and bloom in summer and autumn. Plant grows 30 to 36 inches tall. Plant in full sun. Prefers soil with some organic matter; are used in beds, borders and for cut flowers. Does well in all Zones except the tropics.
