tall, flowers June, July, August - A creeping shallow water ground
cover with bright yellow leaves. Creates a blanket of gold round foliage in or out of the pond. Will tolerate some shade. Hardy to zone 3. A great plant to use in damp areas as a groundcover. The biggest drawback in the garden is that it grows and spreads in a manner that suggest that it could be a bit invasive if left to grow unchecked. Also can be used for planting containers that lack a drainage hole. Makes a neat addition to a container bog garden. |
